Definitely a Guilt Trip
So I wanted to do a review on an order we recently did to go. I had no intention of really doing a review for this place, but after seeing how much we received for how much we paid, I feel like I need to speak my mind.
After looking over the menu and seeing some reviews, I thought we would try a place called the Guilt Trip. It is an Indian Fusion restaurant and sounded good. I had ordered two dishes, a side of naan and a dessert, which cost me about $80. I have ordered all of this before at other Indian restaurants and it has usually been about half that price. I figured this place must be really good for that price. I was rather disappointed when we got our food. There was not much as compared to other restaurants we normally order from. And the food was only subpar. I think the star of the show was the dessert, but even that I wouldn’t pay $80 for. After this experience, I don’t think I will be ordering from here again. I am not sure if the experience at the restaurant itself would be better, but this has turned me away from wanting to try it again. We will stick to our other Indian restaurants that give us more for our money and are honestly better tasting.
